Easter in the UK

EN    This last weekend was simply amazing. Warm and sunny, and happy people everywhere as most of them enjoyed a couple of days off for the Easter holiday. I worked on all bank holidays, but that didn’t stop me to take advantage of every single bit of sunlight. I took out loads of pink stuff from the closet and the outfit was done. What I usually do in spring is always layer up. It’s just a weird period when one minute you’re too cold, one minute you’re too warm. And I hate that. So to feel better I put on as many layers as I can. In order to avoid looking way too big, I like to choose thin fabrics and a scarf is always a good idea.

Iar esarfa port mereu in anotimpul asta. marni top topshop skirt spring outfit marni top topshop skirt spring outfit marni top topshop skirt spring outfit marni top topshop skirt spring outfit marni top topshop skirt spring outfit

Croatia: the place to relax

Croatia Vacation

Croatia is a great place to enjoy your summer vacation. Besides the sea and the wonderful weather, there are other things to do, to make your holiday more interesting. I must say that we spent most of our time relaxing at the sea side, as we all wanted to do this: relax. But there’s definitely a lot to do if you want, have the time and, yes, money!

——————

Am plecat in Croatia cu gandul de-a ne relaxa, in principal.

Many of you may now that the beach is beautiful, however full of rocks. So don’t forget to take with you some plastic shoes/sandals. If you don’t have any, no worries! The shops have dozens of different types of shoes for water. Another risk is to step on a hedgehog, which can be really painful. So don’t forget about the shoes! And yes, some goggles may help you swim better or look at those cute fishes.

—————–

Am incercat sa-i atrag cu paine, ca in Ibiza (click aici pentru a vedea filmuletul), insa astia erau ceva mai fricosi parca.

Croatia sea Croatia - on the beachKrk Croatia We took the boat to Dubrovnik and we stayed there for one day. We visited the old city, which was really beautiful. I have a thing for these old cities, I fell they’re romantic and I just enjoy walking around them. Here you’ll find tones of restaurants and souvenir shops. I personally believe the souvenirs were too expensive.. I chose to buy some from other places (supermarkets, other cities) and ended up paying around three times less. And for visiting museums, it’s cheaper if you buy one ticket first and you can use it for more locations. Here is a link with more information.

Insa asta doar in cazul suvenirurilor! DubrovnikCroatia Dubrovnik Boat Croatia Dubrovnik CroatiaThe food was nice as well, we ate their traditional Cevapcici and Purgerica, some different types of fish and we tasted some wine and the local spirit (Rakija). Most restaurants had a menu outside so you could see whether you’d like their food, or prices. The staff was also very polite and welcoming, so every time we felt comfortable and enjoyed our meals.

Mancarea mi-a placut! Croatian food

andra croatia 2013I really liked this country: beautiful landscapes, clean water, polite people, good food, good prices, lovely weather – great Holiday!

Mi-a placut mult Croatia: peisaj deosebit, apa curata, oamenii amabili, mancarea buna, preturile bune, vremea placuta – o vacanta grozava!

IBIZA Review

There’s some things I want to share with you if you think of going to Ibiza! First of all, don’t forget to pack a pair of sport shoes: you can go on small trips and those fancy sandals won’t be enough..Luckily I had with me a basic pair of white shoes and I used them…a lot! The island is full of nice places, so maybe you want to rent a car or a scooter. In that case, don’t forget your drivings licence!

Noah buun, daca va hotarati sa mergeti in Ibiza, va recomand cateva lucruri. Seaside - Ibiza

When on the island, buy an equipment for snorkeling (3-15 Euros): the water is crystal clear, with many fishes. Use some bread to attract more – it’s really fun!

Beware of the jelly-fishes! They can be very dangerous, even though they look cute and pink. They burn your skin and leave marks on it. Dan touched them while swimming on the first day. He still has the marks.. it doesn’t hurt anymore, but it’s not pleasant!

Ibiza3Andra – laughing at Dan: ‘really? those cute pink things hurt you?’ – before seeing his skin

Ibiza - beach Ibiza diving

Boyfriend’s clothes

Boyfriend look

Everyone is wearing ‘boyfriend’ jeans. Well, I look strange in them, so I can’t wear them. But do I give up? never! That’s why today I stole this sweater from Dan. It’s because this windy Manchester confuses me…I really don’t know what to wear anymore.. I’m either too warm or too cold. And the wind also made it almost impossible to take some pictures for this post, you’ll see soon in my face expression how happy I was about this!

Toata lumea poarta ‘boyfriend’ jeansi.
